Earlier this year, I decided to play around with IF (intermittent fasting) for a couple of months on the run up to a holiday. There were a number of reasons I did this but it was mainly to learn about this method and to see if it actually worked, of course if it did then I’d have lost some body fat to run around topless on holiday, win!
The previous month I intentionally gained body fat to test out another theory so was keen to see how quickly I could lose it again. Now I’ll spare you the details of my thoughts on IF for another post, but in the time that I did it, I stumbled across a more important theory, a theory the internet warriors rage on about constantly and seem to have quite an obsession over.
