Stuck in a rut? 3 Tips to breaking that plateau

I was sat in my local Starbucks with my black coffee and study materials reading up on the human spine on a Thursday afternoon.  I was happy enough with my progress and enjoying what I was reading which is always a major plus, but then it happened.  I read a whole paragraph and realised that I had literally taken in nothing at all, then re-read it all again, nothing.  After a third and then fourth attempt I gave up, I was literally just seeing a ton of fancy words and my brain just stopped taking it in.

Progress Begins

Well I’ve finally got round to officially starting up this page and have many things I would like to write about and I will in time but I thought I would start with more recent events of my actual progress since I changed everything around and started a fresh in August.

I wont go into the in and outs of how things were before hand but I had certainly hit a plateau which happens to everyone from time to time, sometimes without even noticing it. I sat an thought over where I want to be and how I want to get there as what I was doing up until that point was only working around 40-50% for me because I was comfortable with it, training 4-5 times a week doing pyramid sets and only (more…)
